New Deep Freeze Cloud and Faronics Deploy Updates Available
21st Apr 2021
Faronics have introduced a new feature to Deep Freeze Cloud to assist with remotely reimaging machines, as well as some settings enhancements in Deploy.
FARONICS CLOUD DEEP FREEZE
When a computer has been imaged it is now possible to cache the image on the local drive, so that the computer does not need to connect to the imaging server to download the entire image again during the reimaging process.
This means that you do not need to be in the office to reimage a computer; you can do so from any location, as long as the computer is communicating with the cloud service.
FARONICS CLOUD DEPLOY
In Faronics Cloud Deploy, enhancements have been introduced (shown above) to settings listed under Configurations:
- System and Security: you can now remotely add firewall rules with customised settings and enable these settings across different profiles.
- Network and Internet: you can now remotely enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth radios.
- Power Management: you can now remotely configure power management schemes to optimise the power consumption of your computer.
